It’s been a little more than a week since the much hyped about event that I was promoting all of August — The Love Affair. I unfortunately didn’t have my camera on me during the night of the event (I know, right? So unlike me…) so I was waiting to steal some photos off of the photographer who was hired for the night of the event. Honestly, this Slick Nick guy really does live up to his name. I love these pictures!! They’re so vivacious and really captured some candid moments, especially of the performers.

The night was great! It was so amazing to be able to see the artists I had spent personal time with and did these profiles on actually get up there on stage and perform their stuff. Mind you, my raw listenings of their takeaway shows were primarily done acapella — I had no gage as to what this would sound like with their beats as well as being performed with the energy fed from the crowd… I was PROUD. Especially seeing each of them up there and knowing what it took for them to get there… it was really inspiring. I consider myself so blessed and fortunate to be able to get to know these artists on a personal level and can’t wait to see what’s in store for them in the coming years.

I just need to big up Alborz aka Crossword MC who approached me and asked me to be a part of this… YOU need to stop thanking ME, because really… THANK YOU!! and MAD LOVE to Tacha, Made Wade, Smash Brovas, Vibonics, KG, Miss G, DJ Soundbwoy and Ron Dias… real peoples with real talent. Lovehard, alllll day.
